Introduction

This Project focuses on becoming a certified Salesforce Administrator. Salesforce has taken the world by storm by quickly climbing to #1 spot of CRM. We'll be discussing how to get started in Salesforce by focusing on the fundamentals of Salesforce and how it can be customized without a single line of code.

The projects are broken into different parts of Salesforce. It will focus on features that come out-of-box on Salesforce, and how they can be utilized for any team in your company. The tutorials will focus on how to create features in Salesforce to reflect any business process. A developer environment will be provided to follow along, make mistakes and learn.

What are the requirements?

There are no real big requirements. Only ones are to have a computer, an internet connection, a valid email and know how to move your mouse around! Yes, that's exactly how easy it is to learn and use Salesforce.

Salesforce Admin Cert - Intro to Salesforce and Me

This is a quick introduction to Salesforce and myself. Who am I and what makes me qualified to do this project. We jump right into an introduction to Salesforce. We are not diving into the platform yet, but a quick history lesson to those who have not heard Salesforce before.

Session 1: Intro to Standard Objects

Session 2: Custom Apps, Objects, Fields

Here' we will start learning how to create a complete custom app for any team in your company. You will build your very first Salesforce app, objects and fields.

Session 3: Workflow, Process Builder, Validation Rules

We will start seeing the power of Salesforce: automation without code. We get to see how true it is when we say anyone can be a Salesforce Admin.
