Generate and earn Ethereum ERC20 tokens for your Git contributions. The aim of this project is to provide an alternative option for organizations to compensate developers for intellectual property and work contributed. Additionally, it serves to incentivize collaboration and contribution, and has the potential to change the way we fund development in a new era in which software is dominant, and everyone is a software company. Git is often the preferred choice for developers when organizing projects. Git's flexible data structure lends itself to similar qualities as a blockchain, allowing us to track changes and revisions, represented as linked references to state changes throughout time. Each git repository starts with a null state (e.g '0000000000000000000000000000000000000000'). As the state of repository is updated through time, the head commit of the repository changes (e.g. '7334b2871e54b4b84dcb38b062e30f97911d075f'), much like the head block in a blockchain, leaving behind a history of state changes to the tree, which is also uniquely referenced (e.g. ace2d81ecbcb4021942167eb8a7f216e71b1dd71). Our first project will be an Express API middleware for Node.JS projects. This project aim's to provide an ease of use for GitHub organizations to use a webhook endpoint to autonomous manage changes to the organization's projects, whereby issuing and distributing organization tokens to contributors.
